The origins of Keyes Coverage go all the way back to the late 1950s, when it operated in New York. Keyes Coverage in South Florida was established in 1975 by Murray Keyes and his sons, Carey and Kenneth.

Since then, this third-generation, family-owned agency has grown into one of the leading insurance agencies in South Florida. The agency specializes in three main areas of practice:

The agency is fully integrated and provides underwriting, claims, adjudication, risk management and loss control departments. Currently Keyes Coverage employs over 65 people based in our 20,000 square foot office building located in Tamarac, Florida.

Licensed and insured in the State of Florida, Keyes Coverage has been fortunate enough to have experienced double-digit growth since its founding. With over $175 Million in annualized premiums, it is one of the largest privately-owned agencies in the State of Florida.

As a dedicated member of the community it serves, Keyes Coverage is active in several community programs each year, either through participation or contribution. On June 1st, 2022, Keyes Coverage and Keystone Agency Partners (KAP), a rapidly growing insurance brokerage platform, formed a strategic partnership with Keyes Coverage.
