David Ragno, CPCU

David began his career over 15 years ago at the carrier level with Travelers Insurance in Harford, Conn, before joining Keyes in successive roles. Prior to becoming the CEO in June 2022, David held the role of Vice President Commercial Lines, doubling the size of the agency during his tenure. As CEO, David has set a strategic plan to expand the Keyes footprint nationally, establishing Keyes as the premier agency for commercial insurance as well as a great place to work. Driven by his passion for insurance and deal making, he is setting the example of winning business through structuring deals which benefit all parties while creating long lasting relationships. His motivation comes through “investing in the next generation of producers and leaders and seeing others win”. In addition to creating an empowered workforce at Keyes Coverage, David spends a significant amount of time giving back to the community through extensive work with substance abuse and children’s health organizations.

Greg Marsh

COO & Partner

Greg was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Florida in 1976. As an agency principal for over 30 years, Greg has served on the National Advisory Councils for Hartford, Nationwide, Hanover, Travelers, FCCI, Zenith and Amtrust. Some of the best compliments he receives are from company underwriters. Many have stated “No one works harder for their clients, and we work with agents all over the State.” Greg sits on the Board of Directors Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Foundation and is Co-Chair with Jeff Conine, former Florida Marlin, at The Conine Clubhouse.

Ryan Garzon

Ryan is fascinated with business and deal making. After graduating from Binghamton University in 2008, Ryan moved from New York to Florida to begin his insurance career at Keyes Coverage. He has since become the top producing insurance agent at Keyes Coverage; acquiring partial ownership in the business, while also making significant investments in Commercial Real Estate and financing business segments. Ryan is focused on continuing to build new relationships, growing personally as an individual and in business. He empowers others to also break the mold and push beyond their own limiting paradigms.

Zachary Keyes

Claims Director, Sports and Entertainment Insurance Director, & Partner

Zach was born into the business and began learning about insurance concepts while still in Elementary School. Zach’s career started with The Hartford Insurance Group after graduating from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. Zach worked in Hartford’s Baltimore office as the Select Commercial Division Head before being promoted to Hartford’s New York City office. He continued his career as a Middle Market and National Accounts Commercial Underwriter until returning to South Florida where re he founded and ran an insurance wholesaler with partners that specialized in harder-to-place, transactional accounts, mainly using Lloyds of London and other E&S Markets. In 2021 Zach returned to the family business, Keyes Coverage. Zach’s favorite part of the insurance industry is working directly with clients and solving problems.

Kyle Ziegler

Insurance and Risk Advisor & Partner

Kyle began his insurance career at MassMutual in Ft. Lauderdale. After a year of successfully selling life insurance, he joined Keyes Coverage in January 1997. Kyle excels at protecting his clients’ assets through a hands-on approach to their risk management programs. Kyle is passionate about developing and maintaining relationships. His wide range of long-term clientele includes some of south Florida’s most well-known and successful businesses. A testament to Kyle’s dedication and successful navigation of his client’s insurance needs are the voluminous number of referrals received over the years. Kyle earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunications from The University of Florida. In his spare time, Kyle enjoys playing tennis and spending time with his family.

Evan Greenfield, CPCU

CPCU – Insurance and Risk Advisor, Director of Captive Insurance Programs, & Partner

While at the University of Florida, Evan began his insurance career at one of the highest ranked internships in the country with Northwestern Mutual. After graduating in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Finance, Evan took a sales position with Keyes Coverage. Over 2 decades later, Evan has been successfully helping his clients manage the risks inherent to their business. Additionally, while building his book of business, Evan earned the coveted designation of Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter which is held by less than 2% of insurance professionals.

Laura Benedetto

Insurance and Risk Advisor

Born and raised in Philadelphia Laura graduated from Temple University and moved to South Florida early in her business career. Laura is married and has 2 children, 2 stepchildren with her husband Ron and resides in Davie, Florida. Laura and her family love hiking, the beach and snow skiing. Laura provides expertise on difficult casualty risks and large property programs for commercial businesses across a broad range of industries including manufacturing and construction. Laura is a steadfast client advocate and tough negotiator who works diligently with insurance carriers to provide the most comprehensive and cost-effective insurance solutions for her clients. Laura’s insurance proficiency includes Commercial Property, General Liability, Auto Liability, Financial, Professional, Environmental, Trade-Credit, Ocean Cargo, Stock-Put Through and Workers' Compensation insurance.

Myriam Leal

Insurance and Risk Advisor & Team Leader

A South Florida Native with a Dual Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and International Business. Myriam pivoted from her management role in running a safety and survival gear manufacturing company in the Aviation industry to an insurance sales trainee position at Keyes Coverage in 2017. She has since helped develop and lead the top producing sales and service team for commercial accounts with premiums ranging from $100k to $7.5MM in annual insurance expense per insured. She is in constant search of new challenges, and in going above and beyond expectations of others.

Jed Waldman

Jed started in the financial industry with Paine Webber/UBS and working his way to Vice President at Morgan Stanley in Ft. Lauderdale. Seeing a need and interest in insuring clients’ businesses he transitioned to property & casualty insurance and Keyes Coverage for the last 15+ years where he has been working with clients and prospects so they can sleep better at night knowing they are properly covered through an extensive review of their businesses.

Jake Tannebaum

Jake is a South Florida Native, born and raised in Plantation, FL. He attended Florida State University where he double majored in Business and Economics with a focus in Risk Management. After college, Jake started his career in the construction industry working with steel distributors, fabricators and various development companies. Jake was brought on by Keyes Coverage in 2018 to help businesses throughout the country mitigate their risks and exposures and has been a top produce since. Jake prides himself on relationships, trust, and servicing and continues to work with his clients and prospects to make sure their businesses are covered in the event of a catastrophic loss.

Patrick Hendrix

Patrick is a passionate insurance advisor with over 10 years’ experience guiding decision makers through insurance placement and risk management with both a domestic and international presence. After graduating with a degree in financial planning, Patrick began his insurance practice focusing on understanding each client’s unique exposure. His expertise has helped many respected businesses here in South Florida through his consultative approach to the evolving insurance landscape - recommending solutions tailored for the utmost protection. In his spare time, Patrick enjoys spending time with his family and being a “Girl Dad” to his two daughters who are actively involved in the local community.

Originally from Philadelphia, Christian moved to South Florida after graduating from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. With almost 20 years of insurance industry experience, he has developed expertise in the Middle Market construction, manufacturing, and distribution sectors. Christian has earned a reputation for putting clients first and working diligently with them to find the coverage that best fits their specific business risks, which has led to an extremely high client retention level.

Michael Shaheen

Michael began his career in pharmaceuticals and entered the insurance industry with New York Life. During his time at New York Life 90% of his clients were looking for a competent property & casualty agent. With that newfound knowledge he joined Keyes Coverage over 23 years ago to provide clients a trustworthy agent that looks out for their best interest. Michael still retains many clients from his first year at Keyes Coverage.

Daniel Peruyero

Born and raised in South Florida, Daniel received Degrees from both Florida International University and Villanova University. Now 17 years in the business, Daniel began his career at Marsh & McLennan in their Global Brokerage, managing Private Equity portfolios with a value of over $14 Billion. Adding Value to his clients is Daniel’s highest priority. In 2014, Daniel made the move to Keyes Coverage to work on local Florida business. Establishing relationships, creating value, and driving Insurance to be a strategic asset to clients is key in the success of Daniel’s book of business.

Todd was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He moved to Tampa, Florida after graduating from the University of South Florida with a degree in Finance. Todd has been a corporate insurance specialist with over 20 years of experience in the South Florida market. Keegan Lynch

Keegan grew up in Connecticut before attending Rhode Island College as a Varsity soccer player. He made the move to sunny South Florida over a decade ago to pursue a career in the insurance industry.
